Icy tale set to warm the hearts of families
The Snow Queen
The Snow Queen show is at Nottingham Playhouse, on Saturday.
The classic story of The Snow Queen is told in a family show at Nottingham Playhouse on Saturday.

Gerda and Kay are the best of friends, but when Kay is hit with magic splinters from a shattered mirror, everything begins to change.

Kay meets the dark and mysterious Snow Queen who takes him far away to her distant land of ice.

In a story of ice kingdoms, magic spells and enchanting creatures, Gerda tries to defeat hatred and save her best friend from the dark magic of the Snow Queen.

The tale is brought to life by a combination of storytelling, original music and song.

The show, suitable for children aged five and over, is at 11am and 1.30pm.
