Comedian Joe Pasquale heads the cast in Ha Ha Holmes! on November 14. Joe, who plays Sherlock Holmes, will be joined by Ben Langley as Dr Watson and Andrew Fettes, playing all the other parts, and on-stage musician Andy Pickering as they recreate Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s masterpiece, The Hound Of The Baskervilles.

Singer Elkie Brooks returns on November 16 for an evening of nostalgia, performing hits such as Lilac Wine, Pearl’s A Singer, Sunshine After The Rain and Fool (If You Think It’s Over).

Palace regular Bernie Clifton is back for the third time with his ostrich, Oswald, to perform in Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs, alongside former UK Eurovision entrant Nicki French, from December 5 to 31.

On January 25 Newark’s own Steve Steinman returns with his cult show, Vampires Rock.

Palace Theatre business manager David Popple said: “We are once again delighted with the strength of the programme we are now announcing to our audiences.

“Our autumn-winter season is always busy and we are very excited about the shows we are going to be welcoming this year, as well, of course, as looking forward to this year’s pantomime.”

The theatre’s online booking system will soon enable customers to select their own seats in the auditorium for the new season.

A new brochure will be available by the end of July giving more details about the shows. Tickets are now on sale.
