Tom Jones will play at Sherwood Pines Forest Park on Saturday, June 24.
Tom Jones will perform at Sherwood Forest this summer.

The legendary singer takes to the stage at Sherwood Pines, Edwinstowe, on Saturday, June 24 as part of the Forestry Commission’s Forestry Live series of concerts.

In a career spanning more than five decades, the Welshman has become known for a sizeable catalogue of hits including “It’s Not Unusual”, “Delilah”, “Kiss”, “What’s New Pussycat” and “If I Only Knew”.

Knighted in 2006, Tom Jones has also won BRIT awards for Best Male and Outstanding Contribution To Music, and a Music Industry Trust Award.

He is currently one of the guest judges on ITV’s singing talent show The Voice, alongside Will.I.Am, Gavin Rossdale and Jennifer Hudson.

He said: “I had a great time being part of the Forest Live concerts last year, so I am delighted to be coming back again.

“It’s important that people are aware of our forests and come to enjoy them, so I hope you can join me.”

Tickets cost £46.50 (plus £5.15 booking fee) and are available from 9am on Friday (February 24), by calling 03000 680400 or by visiting the Forest Commission website.
