A fashion label recently favoured by the Duchess of Cambridge is now being stocked by a Newark boutique.
Jane Young of Chain Lane, Newark, is offering pieces from Goat’s latest collection.
The duchess has been seen wearing a white coat by Goat at a children’s charity event.
Jane Kingsley, who runs Jane Young, said: “Goat is new to our shop and their collection for this season includes printed dresses and occasion wear.
“There are some nice dresses that can easily be turned into wedding wear by adding a hat.
“The label Religion is also new to us this season, which is aimed at ladies in their 30s and 40s. It is a bit funkier.”
Jane Young’s latest collections were launched during a fashion show event, which also included ideas and tips on the best ways to wear scarves from printed luxury brand Laura Orchant.
Models showed off casual, work, holiday and evening wear. Other new labels featured included Ivory, Primrose Park and Oakwood.
Jane said: “Oakwood includes lots of bright coloured leather jackets, as well as softer greys.”
Jane Young is holding another fashion show on Saturday from 10.30am to 4pm.
A representative from Betty Barclay will be in-store to give advice on their spring collections.
On March 25, models will showcase the latest looks from Luisa Cerano, starting at 11am.
The 2017 collection from Joseph Ribkoff will be showcased on March 30 from 11am.
Tickets must be booked for the events on March 25 and March 30. To book call Jane Young on 01636 703511.
