A 27-year-old was arrested after a two-car crash on the A52 between Bingham and Saxondale Island, on Monday, January 2.

A 27-year-old woman was arrested after a two-car collision on the A52.
The incident happened between Bingham and the Saxondale Island at around 11am yesterday (Monday).

No one was injured in the crash.

The woman, who was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst unfit through drink/drugs, driving without due care and attention, driving whilst disqualified, driving without insurance and possession of cannabis, was released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Anyone who witnessed the crash, or the moments before it happened, should call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 178 of January 2, 2017.

  • In a separate incident, a motorcyclist was taken to hospital with minor injuries after a collision with a car in New Lane, Whatton, at 12.40pm yesterday (Monday).
