NOTICE OF MAKING OF PUBLIC
PATH ORDER
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT
1981
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY
COUNCIL
(GONALSTON FOOTPATH NO.6) DIVERSION
AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND
STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER
2018
The above Order, made on 24th May
2018, under Section 119 of the Highways
Act 1980, will divert the public right of way
commencing from a point, SK 6765 4709
the remains of Gonalston Footpath No.6
and proceeding for a distance of approximately
78 metres in a west-north-westerly
direction to a point SK 6758 4712,
to a line running from a point SK 6765
4709 the remains of Gonalston Footpath
No.6 and proceeding initially in a
south-south-westerly direction for approximately
5 metres, then continuing in
a west-north-westerly direction for a distance
of approximately 74 metres, before
heading in a north-westerly direction for
approximately 5 metres to a point, SK
6758 4712 as shown on the displayed
Map, and also provide for the required
consequential amendment of the Nottinghamshire
Area 7 Definitive Map and
Statement.
A copy of the Order, Order Map and
Statement of Reasons may be seen free
of charge at my Office at the address below
between the hours of 9.00 am and
4.30 pm Mondays to Fridays inclusive
and at the offices of Newark and Sherwood
District Council, Castle House,
Great North Road, Newark, Notts, NG24
1BY and at Lowdham Library, Main
Street, Lowdham, Nottingham NG14
7BE during their respective normal opening
hours until 12th July 2018. Copies
of the Order and Map may be purchased
from my Office at the address below at a
cost of £5 per copy.
Any representations about or objections
to the Order must be received by
the Countryside Access Team at the address
given below not later than 13th July
2018. Please state the grounds on which
they are made.
If no such representations or objections
are duly made, or if any so made are
withdrawn, the Nottinghamshire County
Council may themselves confirm the
Order as an unopposed Order. If the
Order is submitted to the Secretary of
State for the Environment for confirmation
any representations and objections
which have not been withdrawn will be
sent with it.
