TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF FOOTPATH THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (NEWARK FOOTPATH NO.51) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION) ORDER 2018

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Nottinghamshire County Council has
made an Order, under Section 14 of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect
of which will be:-
No person shall:-
(a) proceed on foot,
in the following length of Footpath at
Newark in the District of Newark and
Sherwood:-
Newark Footpath No.51 between
grid reference points SK 7941 5375
and SK 7945 5378, a distance of 60
metres.
IT IS INTENDED that the prohibition will
apply as follows:-
From Monday, 4th June 2018 until
Monday, 3rd December 2018 inclusive.
AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER
GIVEN that during the period of restriction
there is no alternative footpath route.
The prohibition shall apply to enable
works to be carried out and in respect
of the likelihood of danger to the public
and damage to the footpath. It may also
apply on subsequent days when it shall
be necessary. If the works are not completed
within 6 months, the Order may be
extended.
The prohibition is required to enable
building works and in respect of the likelihood
of danger to the public and damage
to the footpath.
THIS CLOSURE WILL ONLY TAKE EFFECT
WHEN SIGNS INDICATING CLOSURE
ARE DISPLAYED
THIS NOTICE IS DATED THIS 31ST
DAY OF MAY 2018.
