A GREAT-GRANDMOTHER who was a State Enrolled Nurse for 25 years has died. Mrs Adeline Louise Price, of Lilac Close, Newark, died at King?s Mill Hospital, Sutton-in-Ashfield, on January 4, aged 86. Born in Spital Row, Northgate, Newark, she was educated at Christ Church School, Newark, and Main Street School, Balderton. She retired from nursing from Hawtonville Hospital in 1984. She was a soldier in The Salvation Army and loved gardening. She leaves a son, Mr D. Price, a daughter, Mrs Vanessa Yeomans, eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. The funeral of Mrs Price takes place tomorrow at 2.30pm at St Giles? Church, Balderton, and will be conducted by Canon Mathews. The undertaker is E. Gill and Sons of Newark.
