WINTERTON On December 4, 2017, David George, passed away peacefully in King's Mill Hospital, aged 80 years. Dearly loved husband of Lindy, much loved father of Jane, Rachel and Serena, father-in-law of Roger, Chris and Tom, dearest grandfather of Josh and Lucinda, Jake, Megan, James and Harriet, Charlie, William, Harry and Maddie. WINTERTON On July 27, 2017, James, passed away, in Mansfield Hospital, aged 81 years. Husband of the late Mary and stepfather to Paul, Julia and Robin, cousin of Marjorie, Tony and their families. The funeral service will be held at Grantham Crematorium, on Thursday, August 17, at 11am. James WINTERTON (Jim) Passed away on July 27, 2017. Little did we know that morning God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly in deathe we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you as a friend you were always there. A lovely man. But you did not go alone for part of us went with you. The day God called you home. THE FUNERAL of a co-founder of Sherwood Laboratories Ltd in Newark took place in a packed Newark Parish Church on June 9. Mrs Pauline Ann Bagley, 64, of Rectory Street, Beckingham, died at home on May 29. She had had breast cancer since 2005. Born in Mansfield, she was educated at Rosemary Street and Cumberlands schools in the town. She moved to Devon in 1972 and then to the Newark area in 1983. She loved gardening, family holidays, socialising and playing darts. She retired from the laboratory in 2005. She leaves a widower, Mr David Bagley, daughter Sharon, son Glyn and grandchildren Kit, Lexi and Vaughan. The funeral service was conducted by Canon Philip Humphries. The undertaker was E. Gill and Sons. A total of £920 was raised for Breast Cancer in lieu of flowers. The chief mourners were Mr David Bagley, Miss Sharon Bagley, Mr Steven Blackburn, Mr Glyn Bagley, Miss Tracy Bagley, Master Kit Bagley, Mrs Ingrid Ward, Mr Michael Howel, Mr Glyn Vaughan, Mrs Jackie Vaughan, Mrs Loretta Scrimshaw and Mr Colin Scrimshaw. M[casel][casue]cCARTHY On February 19, 2017, David John. David received a call, a sort of offer you can't refuse, for an appointment from which he will not return. This assignment comes with a huge sign-on bonus - a reunion with family, friends and various pets he has not seen in a long time. David's new mission takes him to a wonderful place where he will be Nordic Walking at speed over varied terrain, Ducati motorbike riding along sunny roads and reading till the cows come home. Food is superb - especially the Italian-style dishes - and you never gain an ounce. The rest of us are invited to celebrate his mission here, which he has completed to the highest standard, at St Giles' Church, Balderton, on Tuesday, March 7, at 12 noon. SYOTOS.
