ROBB Rosamond and family would like to thank everyone for their condolence cards and kind words of tribute to Barry on his death. Thank you also for the donations in his memory to Epilepsy Action, Barry's chosen charity. We were very touched by the number of family and friends who attended his funeral, including representatives from The old Magnusians Association and Newark Rugby Club. We greatly appreciate all the care given to him by Caythorpe Surgery, the district nurses, St Barnabas Hospice at Home, Macmillan and Marie Curie Nurses. This wonderful support in the community made it possible for Barry to remain in his home with his family around him, which was a great comfort to us all. Thank you to David Gill and colleagues for their kindness and sensitivity in arranging the funeral and to everyone at All Saints' Church, Hough on the Hill for making the church look so lovely and for the inspiring music. Finally a very sincere thank you to the Reverend Stuart Hadley for his continuous support throughout Barry's illness and for delivering the funeral service so beautifully.

His death leaves a big gap in our family, but we have so many happy memories. The funeral service will take place at All Saints' Church, Hough-on-the-Hill, on Saturday, June 16, at 1pm, followed by interment in the churchyard. Family flowers only please. If desired donations in Barry's memory can be made payable to Epilepsy Action and sent to E. Gill and Sons, 55 Albert Street, Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire, NG24 4BQ. Barry requested that his funeral should be a celebration of his life. To reflect this sentiment would family and friends attending the funeral kindly wear an element of colour to celebrate Barry's life.
