Varley On September 6, 2018, Thomas (Tom), surrounded by his loving family, aged 92. Husband of Daisy, treasured dad of Susan, Anthony and the late Michael, much loved father-in-law, grandad and great-grandad. So loved and will be very much missed by all. Reception into Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Boundary Road, on Sunday evening, September 23, at 7.30pm and Requiem Mass Service, on Monday morning, September 24, at 10.30am. STEVENSON On September 10, 2018, Terry (Malcolm Terence) of Burgage Close, Southwell, sadly passed away, aged 79 years. Much loved husband of Liz, dad to Chris and Sarah and grandad to Sophie and Lucy. Originally from Rainworth, he lived in Southwell for many years and was a well-known member of the community. His funeral will take place at Rainworth Methodist Church, on Friday, September 28, 2018, at 11am, followed by a wake at the same venue. All welcome. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Save the Children, c/o D. J. Hall Funeral Directors, Verne House, King Street, Southwell, NG25 0EN.

PAYNE On September 14, 2018, Joan (n[e]e Peatman) passed away peacefully in Lancaster Grange Care Home, aged 94 years. Dearly loved sister of the late Eleanor. Funeral service at Sherwood Forest Crematorium, Ollerton, on Monday, October 1, at 2.30pm. No flowers please. If desired, donations for Balderton Methodist Church and Newark Salvation Army may be sent to E. Gill and Sons Ltd.
