About the role

Southwell Racecourse is seeking a driven Commercial Coordinator to work within the existing Commercial Team. Not only is Southwell Racecourse a great company to work for – it’s a great time to get on board!

The successful candidate will be proactive, accurate and highly motivated with a positive attitude towards work. The candidate should also possess experience of working within a similar admin/support role. The main focus of this role is to work alongside the Commercial Manager processing race day Hospitality bookings and non-racing events as well as administrative support.

Key responsibilities for the role will include

-          To make and receive telephone calls in relation to raceday and event sales and enquiries.

-          To assist with the RCA Pass System

-          To manage Event Master CRM system, updating packages prices and events

-          Processing of all ticket and hospitality bookings

-          Office administration and filing

-          Liaise with the Racecourse Annual Members

-          Support effective cross team working to ensure efficient process and service delivery.

-          Client liaison and account management including motel bookings Work with the Commercial Manager to process bookings for Hospitality and events.

-          To provide reactionary sales support including growing the current level of Southwell corporate hospitality business and identifying all potential up-selling opportunities available 

-          Developing new business opportunities

-          Supporting the Commercial Department on racing and events days.

-          Other duties requested by your Line Manager

 Qualifications/Experience:

  • Educated to at least GCSE or equivalent
  • Proven track record in similar role
  • Experience in account management
  • Experience in event Coordination

  1. Maintaining costs within budgeted parameters
  2. Customer feedback on effective event delivery
  3. Effective undertaking of key duties

Other
